Chaoya, started the construction of a 300 MW data center park in Tianjin, China. When completed, the park will have a total of 9 data centers, including 6 multi-purpose computer rooms, each with 3000 cabinets. In addition, there are three high-performance computing centers, each with 1000 cabinets.
The construction of the Chaoya data center fully complies with Chinese laws and regulations, but mainly focuses on international business, and will build an international high-standard and high-performance data center.
Great Prospect of Chinese Market
The first project in Chaoya is a data center park project covering an area of about 486 mu, which was completed in Tianjin with a population of 15 million. The project is planned to serve the Pan-Beijing area with a total population of more than 0.15 billion.
Chaoya has reached an agreement with Tianjin Beichen District Government and the data center project is under construction. The first phase will provide 25 MW of IT capacity. The project emphasizes true two-way power supply and is fully supported by the national grid and gas-fired power plants. It is expected that will be put into use by the end of 2018.
